Team Lead Operations

Utrecht | 32-40 hours | Senior

Yuma is growing fast. We are building a strong Operations organization across two locations: Utrecht (Sovereign hybrid Cloud) and Rijswijk (Multi Cloud). We're looking for a Team Lead Operations who can accelerate the transition from output-driven to outcome-driven work. Someone who embodies operational excellence, prioritizes customer satisfaction, and guides the team in a way of working that prioritizes quality, predictability, and continuous improvement.

What you’ll do
As Team Lead Operations, you will build and lead the Operations department together with the local team lead in Rijswijk.

You ensure our services are stable, secure, and predictable—and that customers know they're in excellent hands with Yuma.

You're the link between team, customer, and organization. You bring structure, rhythm, and clarity.

You will:

  • Managing and coaching our cloud engineers and service teams

  • Monitoring SLAs, KPIs, and customer satisfaction

  • Continuously improving processes (automating where possible!)

  • Consulting with customers about performance and optimizations

  • Responsible for planning and capacity

  • Contributing to the further professionalization of our MSP

  • You'll interact daily with engineers, customers and management

  • Strategic thinking is important, but you'll also stay closely involved in operations

Who you are

  • Proven experience leading technical teams in an operations or managed services context

  • Strong understanding of security, governance and cloud reliability

  • Able to connect engineering, customers and sales

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset

  • Comfortable building teams, structures, and processes in a growing organization
