Team Lead Operations

Rijswijk| 32-40 hours | Senior

Yuma is growing fast. We are building a strong Operations organization across two locations: Rijswijk (Multi Cloud) and Utrecht (Sovereign hybrid Cloud). We are looking for a senior leader who can unite Dev and Ops, bridge technology and sales, and build a scalable, secure, AI-driven operations practice.

What you’ll do
As Team Lead Operations, you will build and lead the Operations department together with the local team lead in Utrecht. You ensure collaboration across AWS, Microsoft, and Linux environments and create one strong operational culture across locations.

You will:

  • Lead and grow a multidisciplinary Dev & Ops team (AWS, Azure, Linux)

  • Translate our cloud portfolio clearly to Sales and support them in complex customer journeys

  • Actively involve team leads and engineers in pre-sales to deliver real customer value “as-a-service”

  • Safeguard delivery quality while enabling flexible, scalable customer solutions

  • Drive automation, standardization, and operational excellence (SLA/SLO/KPIs, reliability, security)

Who you are

  • Senior technical leader with experience in Public Cloud (AWS and/or Azure) and Linux environments

  • Proven experience leading technical teams in an operations or managed services context Strong understanding of security, governance, and cloud reliability

  • Able to connect engineering, customers, and sales

  • Strategic thinker with a hands-on mindset

  • Comfortable building teams, structures, and processes in a growing organization
