Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer, you’ll work on impactful projects for leading clients in the Benelux, often close to home. Sometimes you’ll strengthen an existing data platform. Sometimes you’ll design an entirely new data architecture from the ground up. You build smart pipelines, shape data strategy, and advise on governance and DataOps in cloud environments like AWS or Azure.

What you’ll do
At Yuma, we’re building a leading data practice across the Benelux, and you’ll help shape that ambition. You will:
Design and implement data strategies.
Build data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and distribution.
Apply DataOps in cloud environments (AWS or Azure).
Advise organizations on governance, compliance, and best practices.
Contribute strategically to the development of data propositions within Yuma.
Who you are
You’re technically strong, that goes without saying. What truly sets you apart is your ability to listen, translate complex topics into clear insights, and bring people along in change. You enjoy working as part of a team, think in solutions, and know how to inspire others with your story. Additionally, you bring:
Experience with Python and data pipelines on AWS or Azure.
Knowledge of data ingestion, wrangling, exploration, and validation.
Understanding of data architecture, storage, modeling, and DevOps.
Strong technical skills combined with solid communication skills.
Experience with AI? That’s a big plus.
Strong communication skills in both Dutch and English

€4,300 – €5,700 salary + €75 net expense allowance.
